Artcite Inc., Windsor’s only Artist-run Centre for the Contemporary Arts, is seeking to hire:

1) SUMMER ART FEST 2017 – PROJECT LEADER
2) SUMMER ART FEST 2017 – PROJECT ASSISTANT
3) SUMMER ART FEST 2017 – MARKETING ASSISTANT

We are looking for 3 multi-talented, super-disciplined additions to our current, amazing (multi-talented, etc.) Artcite staff.

These rare individuals will combine superb organizational skills and love of a fast-paced work environment with considerable experience in—and knowledge of—the Windsor-Essex County/Detroit area art scene, contemporary art practices and aesthetics, site-specific/public art projects (like “Summer Art Fest”), artist-run culture and/or non-profit organizations, etc. If you also have experience in promotions and marketing, digital design, copy-writing, database management, possess great grammar and proofreading skills AND are an exceptional “people-person”, YOU are OUR student!

POSITIONS OFFERED

1) SUMMER ART FEST – PROJECT LEADER
$12.50/hour (30 hour work week, 7 weeks)

2) SUMMER ART FEST – PROJECT ASSISTANT
$12.50/hour (30 hour work week, 7 weeks)

3) SUMMER ART FEST – MARKETING ASSISTANT
$12.50/hour (30 hour work week, 7 weeks)

These positions are funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Initiative 2017, a program of Service Canada. Applicants MUST be Canadian Citizens, permanent residents and/or otherwise eligible to work in Canada. In addition, applicants must be between 15 and 30 years of age registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year and a returning, full-time student in the fall.
